Reflexology is a hands on approach to healing, this gentle therapeutic treatment is effective when applied to the feet and not so common although sometimes to the hands. Reflexology is carried out in our luxurious suites at our Edinburgh salon by fully qualified and experienced therapists. The tranquil relaxing environment we strive to achieve in our treatment suites at our Edinburgh salon and the Reflexology treatment will ensure you get the most out of the session and help induce a state of balance and harmony in body, mind and spirit.

Reflexology works on the reflex areas on the feet (and hands) these areas directly relate to all the parts of the body including major organs. During your Reflexology treatment the therapist gently massages these areas corresponding to the organs and systems in the body, using skilful massage techniques with thumb and fingers.

A consultation prior to the reflexology treatment at our Edinburgh salon will ensure will ensure the therapist can gain an understanding of any imbalance in the body. Sessions generally last between 45 minutes and 1 hour. You will be asked to make yourself comfortable on one of luxurious beds, removing shoes and socks. It is necessary to prepare the feet for the Reflexology treatment by cleaning them first.
